By nature, we all have one core lens through which we interpret the world. And by nature, we all have a point of release during times of distress.
The Enneagram can help you find yours, and with that, peace, and calm in times of distress.
Let me explain.
I am an Enneagram Type 7, the Enthusiastic Visionary or Joyous Person.
By nature, I get easily (over)excited, and exhaust myself by moving onto the next task before completing the previous one.
You know? The type with a pile of unfinished books on her bedside table. The type that’s already planning the next course before completing her accreditation. The type that is insatiable, always wanting more. Never enough, and NEVER good enough. Coping with life by reframing reality and seeing the world through pink glasses.
That’s me. Or so I thought. Until I discovered the Enneagram and how the Enneagram is who I am NOT!
Once you see what motivates your behaviours, you have a choice and are no longer restricted by subconscious programs. The Enneagram taught me to tame my inner leopard and to make friends with my Ego.
So, here’s how to use your psychology in your favour.
Each type has a Release Line. Get to know yours!
Accessing my point of release, the healthy qualities of the Enneagram 5 – the Quiet Specialist gives me instant relief in times of distress. Focusing on complex ideas, finishing, and developing skills, meditation, yoga, alone time coupled with healthy boundaries is what keeps me sane. By nature. Today, this is how I consciously recharge my battery these days.
And you want to know the best part of this? You too can do the same…
I’d be more than happy to facilitate this process for you and support you getting to know your Enneagram, Release lines, Growth Lines, and Wings.
There is endless material available in books and online. It is a process. The fact that you are reading this means that your personal growth and development has already begun.
What we see cannot be unseen.
